It was another VIP party for Twyla as the season gears up for the holiday. Taking time to support Monica Graves, a local jewellry designer and owner of Glam, is important to Twyla, no matter what time of year it is. And with cameras clicking all night long, it was a glam-orous night!

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s…it’s…Twyla! Yes, that’s right. To kick off Fire Safety Awareness Week, Twyla joined local firefighters and Duracell Canada at two different locations within the St. Catharines community. She participated with “men in uniform” to create awareness and promote the fire safety campaign. Thanks to the fire department, Twyla was harnessed, hoisted, and elevated high in the sky aboard the fire truck. Children and adults alike came from all over to see what was going on. And, for those who were not able to see with their own eyes, camera crew was right there to catch everything on tape. That’s one way of creating awareness! Way to go, Twyla! Way to go Duracell Canada and local firefighters for a job well done!

Watch the tee for “T”…”T” as in Twyla, that is. On Monday, September 18th, faithful golfers joined Twyla on the beautiful Copetown Woods Golf Course to raise funds for charity. Despite periodic rain periods, the event quickly sold out and businesses across the Hamilton area gathered to help further fundraising efforts. The day was a success and continued on in to the evening. Many special thanks to all who came out and supported such a worthy cause.

Twyla will be supporting a worthy cause this Tuesday, and it’s sure to be a day to remember. On July 4th, Assante Wealth Management Ltd. will be hosting their fourteenth annual United Way Golf Classic, and they asked Twyla to come out and lend a helping hand. The tournament will be held at Heron Point Golf Links, lifetime home of the Canadian Professional Golf Tour’s Canadian Masters Tournament, and ranked 60th course in Canada. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. Your $300, or $1,200 for a foursome, supports your local United Way, along with a day filled with great golf, fabulous food, an auction, and an opportunity to mingle with yours truly, Twyla. On Thursday, June 29th, Twyla welcomed “new outlaw”, Travis Tritt, to Casino Rama. This country superstar dazzled Twyla, along with a full house, with a spectacular show and performed such hits as “Foolish Pride”, “Help Me Hold On”, “Put Some Drive In Your Country”, and “Can I Trust You With My Heart”. After an extended encore, Travis Tritt exited the stage while Twyla mingled with band members a while longer. Never a sociable moment left unsocial.

On June 1st, Twyla had the honour of welcoming a multi-platinum country artist, Randy Travis. With 22 number one hits, 6 number one albums, 5 Grammy’s, 6 CMA’s, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (to name just a few milestones), Randy returned to Canada, and Twyla was invited to join in on the nights events. Many special thanks to Randy for an outstanding performance and an unforgettable evening. Truly a man of musical talent.

The famous wear them, so watch for it! “Supermodel” Twyla will be sporting the famous California-based Chip and Pepper jeans this coming Friday, April 28th. Joining Anita Gatto and Lesley Stewart on CH Morning Live, she knows the “skinny” on wearing denim the right way.

Favoured country sister trio, SHeDAISY, took the stage on Friday, May 26th, and Twyla was there to enjoy the sensational sounds…with media right by her side. SHeDAISY performed their latest hits, including “I’m Taking The Wheel”, “Passenger Seat”, “Little Good-Byes”, and “This Woman Needs”. Whether Twyla is on a photo shoot, filming, making an appearance, or enjoying a night out on the town, she is never out of sight, never out of mind.

Returning back to her roots, Twyla made her way to Ottawa to enjoy one of her favourite leisurely activities, watching in awe at Cirque du Soleil. And why not combine pleasure with her trip to the nations capital? She enjoyed sipping champagne and nibbling on appetizers under the VIP tent, then marvelled over the spectacular performance of “Quidam”. It’s no wonder she enjoys the finer things in life and knows that, along with working hard, it’s just as important to “play” hard too.
