Fergie Jenkins Golf Classic Wine and Cheese

Play Ball!!!
All the bases are loaded, and she’s up at bat. Twyla takes the wine glass in hand, and she’s off and running. Well, it’s not quite what you think. She’s not running around the baseball diamond, but she was invited to attend the Fergie Jenkins Celebrity Wine and Cheese…and she was a hit. The charity event took place on Wednesday, September 20th with other celebrities such as Donovan Bailey (5-Time World and Olympic Champion runner), Kelly Gruber (Blue Jays, Major League Baseball), Ron LaFleure, Mark Isbister (U.S. National Tae Kwon Do Champion), Al Downing (L.A. Dodgers), Bill North (L.A. Dogers), Ty Smith (San Francisco Giants), to name just a few. Definitely a winning night!

She’s Got That Invisible Touch

British pop-rockers, Genesis, kicked off their North America tour on September 7th, and yours truly, Twyla, was front and centre (or close to it). Performing for the first time in 15 years, frontman Phil Collins, bassist Mike Rutherford, and keyboardist Tony Banks, played together at the BMO Field in Toronto. There was no “land of confusion” about it. Twyla had a rockin’ good time at the concert with great company, and an entertaining limousine ride. Special thanks to Jim, Dave, and Brian for making “tonight, tonight, tonight” happen!

Cirque du Soleil, Saltimbanco

She’s drawn to it. She’s always been drawn to it. Just like 10 million visitors each year. It’s the vivid sights and sounds of Cirque du Soleil that keeps her coming back. And this time it was a special invitation by, you guessed it, Copps Coliseum to be a guest in their box for the vibrant production of “Salmtimbanco”. It was an edge-of-your-seat show, ending with a meet and greet before the night came to an end.

Back From The Bahamas

Not even back an hour from the Bahamas, and they are already calling. Without even unloading any luggage, Twyla received a call from her manager and was on the road filming more of the Slim n Lift vest, and the Nantucket Bagg. Must be nice to be in demand.

Celebrating In Style

It was an absolute honour to be invited to Duncan Gillespie’s birthday celebration. The CEO of HECFI was the honourary guest of a phenomenal evening at Hamilton’s Copps Coliseum. The festivities started out at the VIP lounge, followed by hob knobbing in the private box, watching and listening to the legendary Bob Dylan.

Rockin’ With Def Leppard and Billy Idol

All work and no play isn’t in this blonde beauty’s books…which is why Twyla took time out of her busy schedule to enjoy an evening out. The British pop metal band, Def Leppard, was in town and rocked the Copps Coliseum in the Hammer, promoting their new album, “The Sparkle Lounge”. And with opener Billy Idol, it was an amazing concert and a “muchly” needed night out.
